About

A Community of Women, Inc. is a non-profit organization established to promote women’s issues, increase awareness, educate, and help support efforts to provide safe havens for all. CoW was granted not-for-profit status through the state of Illinois in January of 2008 and received our 501(c)3 status in August of 2008.

We are a group of women embarking on a journey of hope. We are striving to bring women together to realize the dream that we are each others greatest asset.
